Automated Sanitization Devices
This post is regarding my most recent internship with Mars EdPal Pvt Ltd, my leanings, outcomes and products I prototype with their team.
Innovation continues getting more brilliant and more charming and thus, even the most fundamental things we use in our everyday life have gotten entirely advanced. Demand for healthcare services is increasing around the world due to growing population, increment in interminable diseases, increment in mishaps, and so forth. Reasonable health care designs at present offered by administrations of different nations gives individuals access to healthcare services than ever before. The rise in number of patients increases the risk of vast population being infected with COVID 19 has led to emerging of an entirely new market for personal and public sanitation. The world is confronting a deficiency of automatic hand sanitizer dispensing gadgets. The enormous hole among request and flexibly makes open doors for producers to enter the automatic hand sanitizer dispenser market.
Asia Pacific was the fastest creating in developing automatic hand sanitizer dispenser market. The global market for ultraviolet disinfectant is also expected to observe a consistent ascent in the coming years. This market is being fueled by the expanding mindfulness about the advantages of UV as a synthetic free and dry cleansing technique. Temperature of the body is one of the most prominent indication of Covid infection and a need of fast and accurate measurement devices were needed suddenly and due to banned import from china and boycott Chinese devices movement led to an increased demand of indigenous IR based thermometers. Thus, the unfortunate rise in Covid-19 cases and chemical free disinfection methods is expected to create a huge demand for sanitization and prevention equipment in many critical areas. To take the advantage of this situation I joined hands with the leading electronic instrument in Ambala, Kurukshetra and Chandigarh to research, prototype and launch a series of Local Made Sanitization and Protection instruments that were of high standards and easy to use with the help of micro controllers programmed in C.

Innovation continues getting more brilliant and more charming and thus, even the most fundamental things we use in our everyday life have gotten entirely advanced. Due to Covid-19 nationwide lockdown it was quite challenging to perform an On Site internship and gather the hardware required to build such devices. I had to pull up a lot of threads to get permissions to visit the industrial areas for research and feedbacks. Due to unavailability of e-commerce services during the lockdown, it was much harder to get the desired raw material at low costs, shutting down of small businesses and hardware stores gave me an opportunity to build things with scratch and less resources. Continuous feedback and guidance from my college professors helped me understand the alien concepts and identify the use case and market viability of the projects.
Demand for healthcare services is increasing around the world due to growing population, increase in chronic illnesses, increase in accidents, etc. Affordable health care plans at present offered by governments of various countries gives people access to healthcare services than ever before. Ongoing coronavirus pandemic and awareness in public about importance of sanitization will surely impact the growth of the sterilizing products. Using high grade technology and rigorous testing has allowed us to make products of superior quality for a fraction of cost than previously existing solutions. Furthermore, we have already made sales that have covered up the cost of prototyping and production and aim to spread our reach further beyond local markets. Overall, it has been and insightful and fun experience and was certainly a lot more than just an internship.
